Cedar Plank Salmon
Baked on a cedar plank, this native recipe is steeped in
flavor and aroma (especially while barbecuing). The
plank should be slightly larger than the fillet.
salmon fillet about 1 1/2
lbs
1/4 cup olive oil
1 lemon, juice and zest
1 Tablespoon chopped fresh basil
1/2 tsp salt
1 Teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Marinate the salmon in the ingredients while soaking the weighted
plank in water for two hours. Place the salmon directly onto
the plank and onto the grill. Close the barbeque and
cook for 20 minutes on medium high. |
